which means...
i'm missing important classes right now..
i missed the fugees reunited show last nite.
i'm feeling miserable.
luckily it's not that bad.
hopefully everything goes back to normal tomorrow.
i feel like such a lazy bum.
all i've been eating is soup and cereal.
but not together.
and being sick the same time my parents are is the pits.
it reminds me how much i want to move out.
and i'm really considering it.
if not with chrys.
then somewhere else.
and i need a new job.
i hate working at the church.
the irony.

| two and a half plus other stuff... |

so last thursday was kyle and my two and a half year anniversary... such a long time.. but still so madly in love that i didn't even realize it. we headed to disneyland after he got off class and we had so much fun. i beat kyle on astro blasters twice [even though he was convinved that he got dud guns] went on space mountain twice. i heart that ride. so freaking awesome. so much smoother and fun. you should ride it. went on tower of terror three times. only for the sheer joy that at one point you are in midair.. and then rode a bunch of other rides. short lines, not so crowded, twas awesome. the only thng that wasn't so grand was that they closed at 8:ooPM. lame. but we had fun nonetheless..

school FINALLY starts tomorrow. i'm getting off work early to try and go mini back to school shopping. i'm still in need of some comfy tees and skirts. hopefully i'll find what i'm looking forward to. i've gotten a couple of compliments on my necklaces that i've been making which is really rad. i'm making a few more and i just bought a lot of beads.. i think i've found my new hobby.. plus i'm going to buy fabric in hope of sewing something rad together. i'm getting all crafty and what not.. so rad..

yesterday on my way to work some guy driving next to me, rolled down his window and said
"i just wanted to let you know that you are gorgeous."
i giggled, smiled and felt happy.
brooklyn eats hay like there's no tomorrow.
i gave him a derogatory nickname, that my sisters said i stop calling him.
but it fit him. shame on me.
he's most certainly going to be a pudge and a half.

this weekend was fab.
friday evening was fabulous.
kyle and i arrived at san clemente around 3:ooPM. we checked into the condo that his cousin got for us [him included] to stay for the night. totally awesome. we headed down to solana beach around 4:ooPM but before that we searched all over for a washington mutal seeing as how i needed to deposit my check so i can buy some merchandise at the show. it took us forever to find a bank.. plus there was traffic... plus we were lost. plus we were hungry to the extreme. horrible. but fun. and adventurous. exited at encinitas.. or was it escondido? one of those. we stopped and old man to ask for directions. and soon enough we found the bank. and a restaurant. lovely.
we continued to head towards solana beach to buy tickets and got there around 6:3oPM. horrible horrible traffic. oh and get this. there was a washington mutual three minutes away from the venue. just great. solana beach was insanely dead. it was like a ghost town. but whatever. we went to the venue..bought tickets.. in which i saw sufjan doing a sound check. it was glorious. anywho we killed time and bought some snacks and then headed out back to the venue. the venue was insanely awesome. and the show was grand. bunky and liz janes opened for him. and then he went on as the illinoisemakers followed. truly outrageous. for serious. they cheered and sang. lovely. i now love him more than i did before. his music is intoxicating. i bought kyle all his cds since he didn't have any except some burned copies. so he now has the whole sufjan collection. and i got my little bro a tee. i was considering on getting one for myself, but i knew i'd hardly wear it. so i just bought myself the ultra rare sufjan superman cover cd. haha. it was awesome.
we headed back to the condo and fell asleep. there's nothing i love more than sleeping next to my love while listening to belle and sebastian and belting out "like dylan in the movies.." randomly. hahah. it was supreme bliss. we woke up, checked out, made a stop at san juan capistrano and then to irvine spectrum. where i purchased yet another new bikini and some shot glasses. we had tried to watch charlie opening night [friday at 12:01AM] but stupid people cancelled without telling us. lame. so we got free tickets and our money back. so kyle and i watched @ the imax. the boy who plays charlie is adorable. and the boy who played agustus was extremely airbrushed. haha.. but the movie was awesome. and imax made it way better.
sunday was chill. i overslept. and then kyle came over and we hung out. i did my laundry.
life is good. work tonite.
but i would much rather see rachael yamagata. boo on that.

my weekend was fun. Which seems to be a trend going through my life right now. FUN.
THURSDAY:
twas james birthday so we went to Honolulu harry’s and had a delightful meal. Their food is excellent. Mmmm.. so after that I came home and just chilled with kyle. [pictures to come]
FRIDAY:
Friday was spent with my familia. We had planned on going to the beach but with all these tsunami warnings and cloudy weather, we decided to just relax. We ate lunch at Honolulu harry’s once again, where we were seated at the exact same table as the night prior and had the exact same waitress, who remembered us. =] after lunch we ventured to Costco and sam’s club and got some new pillows while at it. Kyle met up with us and we ended up going home and chillin.
SATURDAY:
I had been NOT scheduled, but then SCHEDULED. But since I had already made plans, I played hookie. I spent the day with the lovely anna and uma in los angeles. We hit up a sample sale and then Melrose, where we had lunch at louise’s and continued with shopping. Unfortunately my card wasn’t working, so I only managed to purchase ONE top.
=[ but it’s ok though.. because it limited my spending. Met up with kyle later that night and fell asleep cuddled.
It was my mother’s birthday, but since she already made plans ahead, we were to celebrate it the day after.
SUNDAY:
got up early to help out with last minute cleaning and cooking for the birthday party/father’s day shindig. I ended up playing donkey konga with my sissys, sarah, and Kevin…and later on with kyle, to which we got gold on all of the songs possible. [yea..can’t you tell I’ve got no life..] got my future read by a deck of cards which claims that I will meet another guy but kyle still loves me. Which I think is complete bullshit. Because I love my kyle. FOREV. Everyone left early due to work the following morning and I, kyle and the sibs were stuck cleaning the mess but after, played donkey konga once again while eating lychees, or as kyle likes to call them baby heads. I fell asleep after a few rounds and kyle journeyed home.

| so that was my weekend. Which leads me back to routine life, working and awaited the weekend to come. I hope to purchase an furry, loving, affection, buddy who will keep me company as kyle goes on a road trip with his friends next week. And I’m getting addicted to ebay. I never knew how fun it is. Keep your fingers crossed that I win some of these. For I will have a field day with these goodies. But for now, enjoy. It’s summer. And I want to slip and slide. <3 |
